David D. and Nancy J. Foust Computation Laboratory
About
The Foust lab is a general computing lab open to all Industrial Engineering students. Generous funding for this laboratory was provided by David D. and Nancy J. Foust. David Foust is a 1963 BSIE graduate from the University of Arkansas, Department of Industrial Engineering. He is an active member and former president of the Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineering (AAIE). Mr. and Mrs. Foust play a significant role in the development of AAIE scholarships. The Department of Industrial Engineering appreciates the continued support of David and Nancy Foust.
Equipment
The lab features 29 Dell Optiplex GX620 computers. The computers are equipped with 2.00GB RAM, Intel Pentium D 3.2GHz Dual-Core processors, and Radeon X600 Graphics cards. The software package on each computer includes:
